International Centre for Life

LPS was appointed to provide project management and financial management support services on this £4m specialist fit-out project. The project was let under the NHS Procure 21 arrangements. The works comprised a new stem cell research facility and upgraded IVF treatment suite, both housed within the existing world renowned International Centre for Life in Newcastle upon Tyne. Upon appointment, LPS was invited to join the main steering group for the overall project and worked closely with the core delivery team to ensure overall completion was achieved in March 2008.

Warwick University Students' Union Media Centre

LPS was appointed in June 2009 to work for DACS, a specialist studio designer, to complete a feasibility study for a new media centre facility for the University Students' Union. One of the leading and most innovative Students' Union in the UK, they are seeking funding to develop a state-of-the-art multi-media centre to provide a focus and dedicated centre for their existing media services.

Durham University Project Management Framework

Durham University chose LPS to be retained on the project management framework that was put in place at the beginning of 2009. Following on from our successful delivery of projects under the old framework, we were appointed for some interesting new projects including a feasibility study for a new Muslim prayer facility.

Houghall College Feasibility Study

LPS was appointed in November 2007 to prepare a feasibility study to give options for East Durham College's land-based studies site at Houghall on the outskirts of Durham City. LPS is also assisting the College with the potential sale of part of the site for development, which will assist with funding for the College redevelopment plans.
